Ninja Gaiden 4 is finally here. We start off as the Raven Clan Ninja Yakumo
Yakumo, tasked with finding the third pylon to weaken the DDO's network in a daemon-infested Tokyo, battling DDO soldiers, collecting Gourdies via stealth or QTEs, and undertaking side missions for rewards like NinjaCoins, potentially involving rail-riding and Metroidvania-style exploration for hidden paths, all while progressing towards defeating enemies blocking your way and completing objectives for upgrades.
Yakumo, The Raven Ninja, has escaped with the Priestess Seiori but they may be getting tracked by Ryu Hayabusa, the Dragon Ninja.
Yakumo uses his glider to navigate treacherous winds after falling from a bridge, encountering challenging daemon fights, breaking statues, and interacting with spiritual guides like Seori, all while progressing toward the Dark Dragon seal and collecting vital items like Black Scales and Phantasmal Herbs to enhance his life
Yakumo takes on Ryu Hayabusa
Yakumo dives into the underworld to rescue Seori, battling fiends, navigating portals, and chasing a dimension-hopping shark through a hellish landscape, often returning to the Drowned District for supplies before facing tough enemies and collecting valuable minerals to progress towards a challenging boss fight, learning more about these demonic realms.
Ryu returns to the battlefield
Ryu Hayabusa and Seori travel through the rain-soaked Sky City Tokyo to reach a shrine and conjure the second seal on the Dark Dragon.
Ryu Hayabusa sees the Dark Dragon resurrected and rushes to stop it, battling fiends in Tokyo's Dragon's Maw while recalling a flashback where Seori gives him the Jewel of the Dark Dragon before her death, entrusting him to save Yakumo from the curse and complete their mission against the dragon, setting up the final confrontation
Yakumo, faces the ultimate boss, the Dark Dragon, using the Dark Dragon Blade to bring the saga to a close, with Ryu Hayabusa playing a significant role, culminating in Yakumo potentially fulfilling a prophecy to defeat the ancient evil once and for all.
